Does anyone know the orbit radius on the PC? I just wanna compare it to a finishing sander, and my trusty coleman. Finishing sander is about 1/8 inch, coleman about 1/4 inch.

Yes but my finish sander is a very fine sander with a fixed 11,000 rpm maximum speed, which I think is far too fast to just stick a pad on and go at it on my car.

    Oh no!!!

Finishing sanders, aka DAs with short throw and high speed are magnificent for car finishes. Of course, spreading the product on lower speeds would be beneficial, but if you smear the polish thinly over the work area, the results will be great! These DAs can break down the more aggressive compounds rather quickly, and finish beautifully. Just try it.

And don`t confuse OPMs with RPMs...

If it`s direct drive like my finish sander it`s pretty much the same, it doesn`t have a gearbox.
