Rumour has it that they are made by the same source that makes it for Meg`s backplates.

I took it for a spin tonight and it was buttery smooth, this is what I have been missing !

Funny you mentioned American Buffing, I don`t know about them making the BPs, but I do know they make the Score pads that Kevin Farell uses.

Count me in for a 4" AND a 5". For sure. where do I send the $$?

Speaking of that, I was thinking of making my own version. A 5"backplate, attach let`s say a 5" low profile orange pad via the velco, and spray glue some velco to the face of the low profile pad, then just add the pad of your choice, velco`d to the face of the low profile pad. What do y`all think?

Those pads are on sale for a reason, as I heard from Kevin the cross groves aren`t what he prefers and a flat pad will work just fine depending on the buffing style. Kevin was telling me the Meg`s design is off sided, but I`d just say it`s a preference in design (as seen by the many 3M/Meg`s BP fans).

The pads that are on sale do not have the crosscuts and are flat even though the photo in his site have the crosscuts. What do you mean off sided ?

My source won`t be back till next week, he is currently travelling to Meguiar`s HQ as we speak for a meeting this coming week.

I will get back to you guys when he is back !
