Do you guys use your PC`s to polish chrome rims? I`ve get a set of 22 inch chrome rims that have some rust looking spots on them. I tried using 1Z chrome polish by hand, but it didn`t touch the marks. What do other people do?

    Thanks

Are they actually rust spots where the chrome is missing?

Perhaps the rust is from somewhere else like the wheel hub?

    Chrome is pretty tough stuff.

I`ll try to take some pics. I did try the other things people have posted big Jim. The clay and applying the 1Z polish by hand didn`t do anything to these spots.

I`ve tried posting pics a few times but it won`t let me. I`ve got the sizing right so I`m not sure why it`s not working.

Your first step should be to use an acid based cleaner. Then try clay, then steal wool and a metal polish. If these 3 steps don`t work its time to get a new set of rims.
