I`m just wondering if the backing plates are interchangeable between rotary`s and PC`s?

You can use the same pads on each though right? Also, what size backing plate do you buy for a 5.5. inch pad?

You can use one backing plate if you got one of this rotary backing plates:
with this DA adapter.
Just trying to keep my family`s cars clean.
