Rotary on the cheap: $20 rotary & System One (long)

If the weather holds out next week, I`ll do 2 details (My silver `05 F150 and my Father`s white Caddy) next week using System one. I currently have 2-Edge 6" green wool and 2-white foam pads to use but I hope to get my 6" system one pads in time.

I just bought one of these machines last night myself. How do you deal with not having a soft start?

I`m sure I would prefer a soft start, but it`s not too bad not having one. You can use little `blips` of the throttle if need be. Plus the speed control goes as low at 300rpm I believe, so you could start at this speed and then use your thumb to go to speed 1/2 real easily.
