Have you subjected this system to a prep-sol wipe down and inspected in the sun?

how does the 3M blue pad and the LCC blue compare when using the Ultrafina? You can get the blue pad in a smaller size than 8".

I think the blue UF pad is available in a smaller size, but only in the UK.

I have not used UF with an LCC blue pad yet, so I don`t know how it compares.

I don`t know if it`s a product only for a rotary, but I know it was designed to be used by rotary.

I have never used a DA polisher with UF, so I have no idea if would work as well?

Swirl free everytime. (Unless I just didn`t take all the steps but seconding guessing just how much work was needed) But yes everytime with the halogens and good ol bright sun shiney days I get great results... if considering take with a grain of salt though considering your normal clientel tote around in half a million dollar super cars where as I deal mainly in the DD`s and lower end BMW`s and such. Not sure if there would be any difference just saying I`ve never had the pleasure of trying out a hand painted super exotic or anything to test it.

On rydawgs recommendation I picked up a quart a few weeks back. I did a few passes with SIP/Orange CCS on the hood of my Jeep last weekend and with it being cold it didnĂ¢â‚¬â„¢t finish down as well as usual. I then went to UF/Blue CCS and was extremely impressed. Work time felt like it could have been forever it you wanted it to. Finished down swirl free. I may experiment with the IP/UF mix in the future- it sounds promising.

One of the best decisions you have made. You will love it. Just keep the rpm around 1800 for it to do the work.

So, can I assume that UF will work well with a Flex too?

I had serious issues fighting the clear on a Black Trailblazer SS, and the Ultrafina with 3M Blue PerfectIt pad was really the only thing that worked as well as I wanted.

If I am finishing with a PC for any reason I usually stick with a Megs white finishing pad and #82.

Is everyone using a 7" rotary backing plate for the 3m blue pad?

Also, where is everyone buying the polish?
