I have a set of Lake County foam pads and was wondering would Zaino`s Z6 be an adequate primer for the pad?

I use XMT pad primer and it works great. Many use a QD, but Z6 as a QD might not be cost effective. Your call though.

I have used xmt primer and I use z6 too. I like z6 much better and has helped a ton. One spray to prime the pad and that should be it. Also I QD the panels with z6 to make them easier to glide with the buffer. Works 100% with no more issues and I highly reccomend it.

Can you guys explain the importance of priming the pad, and do you think feel that it`s necessary when polishing? I`m gonna be polishing soon, and I`m trying to learn some more info..
Priming the pad will make the pad not jump and skip on the rotory. It will also make the polish flow better into the pad and even it out giving it a well balance and full coverage of the entire pad instead of just the spot where the polish was applied
