For those that use the Edge Blue pads, what uses do you use it for.
Can`t seem any use if I`m using green 4" cyclo foam and then following up with a white pad.
There is supposedly a 4" E2K blue pad coming out.....

I use it for polishing. Have used it with OP several times after using a more intensive polish on a yellow/orange Edge pad, for example.

I use it for my final polishing and on light swirls . Out of all the Edge pads in my lineup the Blue pads are my most used . Next most used pad is green followed by yellow.
Good things are not cheap, and cheap things are seldom good !
Their blue pad is awsome for final finishing especially after their yellow one. I don`t have the need for their green or white pads and especially not their black(dangerous!). The blue is soft enough to final finish out 99% of vehicles for me. I`m going to buy their EDGE 2000 blue and yellow combo soon. Can`t wait.

Noting that I haven`t used the blue pads in question...
Just because there are lot of different grades of pads, that doesn`t mean that you *need* to use them all. It`s a matter of how the pads behave on the paint in question and sometimes there aren`t any appreciable *functional* differences between various pads.
For years the only pads for the Cyclo were the green ones and Griot`s orange pads were all he sold for a long time too (worked OK for both polishing and waxing).
FWIW, I really like the Cyclo white pads for final polishing and LSP application. Unless a paint is *VERY* soft I can`t see needing anything softer than the white pads (they work fine on the Jag`s soft ss lacquer).
If somebody prefers the blue pads, I can understand it; hey, personal preference. But it`s not like we all need every type of pad to get a good finish.
The E2K Blue is a very light polishing pad. I do use it with the PC occasionally for finishing on softer clears, but its sometimes too mild. I find that it makes for a great rotary pad both for cutting and finishing out. Behaves sort of like the Propel Green via rotary.
