I tried to PM you here but they are off. I PM`d you there like a man, so we could talk personally. What I do over there is my business. What you do here and say about me is my business sir.

Using a spray can of sandable primer, and touch up paint (wet sanding with a sponge pad between all coats), a spot repair is possible. It may be necessary to apply glazing putty first (before the primer) if there are deep scratches. When masking around the repair, it`s good to lift the inner edge of the tape away from the surface to help feather the paint into the surrounding area.

Well, this thread seems to devolved into utter uselessness . . . even after DavidB`s warning, y`all just couldn`t let it go. So, I`ll take care of the temptation to continue the sniping with a big ol` thread lock.
