That cordless unit is OK for applying wax, but it lacks the power needed to polish out paint defects. Here is a similar cordless polisher for $17.50:

Here is a review I did on one of those about two years ago:

thanks for reply
i need this for waxing and remove few swirl marks and small scratchs , the paint now in good condation there is no oxidation
do you think Cordless will be a good choice for me ?
ist Nikota give better job?(very nice price too )
It will be fine for waxing, but it isn`t powerful enough to polish out swirl marks and small scratches.Originally Posted by mega
I`m not sure how it compares to the Meg`s cordless polisher, but I suspect thay are almost the same, if not the exact same thing. I eventually bought some 4" Cyclo pads for mine, but I haven`t really used it too much since that first time out. One of the batteries doesn`t hold a charge very well, and since it takes about 4-5 hours for a full charge I just haven`t messed with it too much. I might order a new one just to get an extra set of batteries.... for a long time they were sold out of the Nikota at that cheap price.

BTW, the corded G100 is the exact same polisher as the Porter Cable 7424 but with a lifetime warranty.
