Hello, after having my car for about 2 yrs i have decided its time to get it detailed. I have purchased a 7424 from amazon and have decided to go with Edge pads for simplicity.

The paint on the car is still pretty good, light swirls no oxidation. The car is only 2 yrs old with a dark blue metallic paint.

I have read that optimum compounds are great for begineers so thats probably what i`ll go with since i can work with it for awhile and it does`nt dust. Now that i have decided the brands that i want to go with, what would be the pad and compound combination i need to get my paint back to new again?

I would also like to get some stuff to work on my gf car thats has seen better days. It has heavy swirling, water spots, oxidation all the good stuff that comes with 10 yr old car thats has not been cared for. TIA

blue, green, orange (or yellow) and Optimum compound and polish. unless you have deep scratches I`d suggest skipping the OHC
