Looking to get some sort of RO polisher. It is a seconde unit for me, so I want something lower priced. I was looking for a B&D Firestorm, but cannot find it anywhere online. any other suggestions? Links would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Brett

The PC is basically a random orbit sander. I have several models ranging from B&D, Rigid, to Craftsman. I will say this, the higher end sanders all have less vibration. Black and Decker `s will rattle the fillings out of your teeth and leave a tingling sensation in your arm for hours after prolonged use.

Any random orbit sander that can take a 5/8" screw (I think that`s what the PC has) will do. You`ll have to judge ease of use vs price.

Isn`t the firestorm around $70. I got the PC at lowes for $99. Not much of a difference in price. The pads and polish cost more than the unit itself...and you would still have to buy those no matter what brand polisher you buy.

go to Big Lots and get their $20 RO sander. It`s not as good as a PC but it`s an inexpensive way to get started.
