    Palm grip for maximum comfort and control. Pad is designed to be used with 6`` adhesive-backed sanding paper.

    * Lightweight, yet durable cast aluminum body

    * Cross grain sanding without swirl marks

    * Low vibration

    * Rear exhaust

    Air requirement: 14 CFM @ 90 PSI, Maximum speed: 10,000 RPM, Air inlet: 1/4``-18 NPT, Tool weight: 2 lbs.

    Anyone see this before? HF just sent me an email and I just happened to look over what they had and saw this.

    What do you guys think? Just some crappy RO sander or are there some possibilties? Anyone wanna strap on a 5" backing plate and an orange pad? :bounce

    I have one here that I use for sanding purposes only. It has a relatively short stroke, and moves at a very high rate of speed. I, personally, wouldn`t go near my car with it, but someone may feel differently.

    Well, you can control the speed, but not like you can with a polisher. You can adjust the air pressure which controls your max speed, and then you can alter the amount you engage the "trigger", if you will, which alters the amount of air that passes through the sander, but I couldn`t imagine trying to control it on anything other than a flat surface.
