Its one of those no Autopian want type of rotaries. They have them on eBay also and no one ever bids on them.

I have one because I replaced my DeWalt that died with it. I was short on money at that time putting myself through school. Anyway I have had it 2.5 years and has been about 200 details without a glitch. It is a bit heavy but you get used to it. The downside is the rpm dont match the dial they go by 500rpm intervals rather than 1000 ie 1=500 rpm

You might consider the Hitachi Rotary for roughly $50 more than the Vector. It is no doubt a more "quality" tool.

    Hitachi linky

As I said I got it as a replacement thinking it would die and the thing is going strong after all this time. I got it for $45 at Pep Boys cause they had it priced wrong. I get lucky here and there.

Scott: There are better machines but as I said I think the price helps me get over some quirks about it, and when it dies I wont be upset because it was cheap

Great. Anything you DON`T like about it? I know the dial vs RPM settings are kind of off.

I`ll also point out the Hitachi is now listed at $179 at this link.

I`ve been considering a cheap rotary for personal use. I just take care of my own cars and don`t plan on letting them get in need of serious paint correction too often, but it would be nice to have something a little stronger than my PC. This Vector might be just the ticket.
