Carpet Cleaning

After installing new carpet in my Piper Warrior one of the brake cylinders sprang a leak and left hydraulic brake fluid all over it. The hydraulic fluid in an airplane is more like automatic transmission fluid than the fluid used for automotive brakes. I had some success cleaning it with McGuire`s carpet cleaner but there are still some stains and it smells like hydraulic fluid. Any suggestions for cleaning this mess?

Pull the carpet, pour cat litter on it, smash it around, sweep off the excess then pressure wash (with apc & brush) like crazy and hang to dry

My first advice would be to replace with new
