    Metro Vac n Blo noise

I recently purchase a Vac n Blo (pro-83ba) and there is a very loud whistling noise during operation. Is this normal?

Take out the bag an remove the cover off when using the blower. Problem solved

Excuse my ignorance, but this is for when I`m using it as a blower or vacuum? I haven`t tried using it as a blower but this happens during vacuuming.

The whistling should only happen when no hose is attached when blowing and the top an bag are left in on the vacuum side. When vacuuming do you have the hoses attached?

So I have the bag and foam filter in while I`m vacuuming. I have all 4 hoses attached on the top of the unit and the coupler on each hose is twisted to the close position.

I`ve had mine whistle before, but only when there are no hoses attached.

Also, when you swap to "blowing mode" and you remove the vacuum bag is the lid to your vacuum loose for you?

If I remove the vacuum cloth and paper bag and put the lid back on it is very loose.

I notice that when I remove sections of the hose the noise seems to go away but then I`m only left with a 6 hose attachment to the vacuum.
