Mild leather cleaner with no smell.

Using nothing but a clean damp MF towel. I have been religiously wiping the leather seats of my year old CX-5 every end of the week for the past year. Every month, I apply Sonus Leather conditioner because I absolutely love the smell and how it meshes nicely with the (still) new car smell.

There are a few spots that have developed which just a simple damp MF can`t take care of. Of course, mostly driver side bolster with very minor jeans dye stains. Hardly noticeable, but a slight tint on the white leather.

I have tried the usual OTC leather cleaner by Lexol and a few by Meg`s. Woolite doesn`t seem suitable especially from I have read. I dislike all the smell of those OTC cleaners, and a cleaner/conditioner combo would be redundant since I use Sonus Leather Conditioner only. I am wonder if there is a mild leather cleaner that fits my need.

This will not help you out much, but have you considered using a all in one? I have been using the DP product on my xterra`s leather seats since about new. I can`t overstate how great this product is. It`s a perfect blend of cleaner and conditioner.

Wouldn`t Sonus leather cleaner compliment their conditioner nicely?

Plain old Woolite and water @ 10:1 ratio & a soft scrub brush. Fancy shmancy you don`t need, just Woolite.

For a near non-scented leather cleaner, LM is hard to beat.

Do you apply the Woolite with a MF cloth or use use a round detail brush and agitate it into a lather? Thanks for the Woolite tip. Tom

The leather cleaners I`ve tried are to weak to be effective. Someone needs to change that or just quit altogether

Agree... It`s hard to beat. It is effective and doesn`t have any scent, if I remember correctly. Once you use LM products, you may just buy them all -cleaners, conditioners, protectants, et cetera.
