Hydrophobic coating for synthetic leather

Got my work boots replaced due to the sole prematurely wearing out so I`m looking for a coating to put on them. They are made of a synthetic leather. I was looking at something like the wolf`s or car pro coating and wondered if I could use them on my boots.

Look at the Car pro fabric coating. Used it on my wifes car...Ill get some beading shots on FABRIC!!!!.
