    Stuck, Windshield cleaning woe`s...

I leatheriqued the interior a while ago, long story short I got some overspray on the windshield. I didn`t really notice it till now, it seems to be almost burn`t in. I tried Windex, Stoner and meguiars perfect clarity glass cleaner. Nothing seems to get this stuff off, any idea`s?

I`m honestly about to bust out a rotary polisher and go to town, what can I do?

    Thanks In advance

Possibly try something like PB pro-polish on t-shirt or terry material

Ronkh has a good idea. Would a razor blade help or is it more of a stain?

So far I hit it with lusso glass polish on a white pad with the flex pe around 1500-4000 an nothing. It didn`t even leave a dent!

I`ll give the razor blade a shot, honestly though it seems to be more of a stain. It`s almost like a calcified waterspot.

I`d still try the pb pro polish
It`s a chemical cleaner so it`s pad dependant, but the chem might just be the cure

Bumping this thread back up, I`ve tried everything. I just ordered glass science glass scrub with a car-pro pad. Going to see if this works. I will post up the results soon!

In the mean time... DON`T GET REJ OIL ON YOUR WINDSHIELD!!!!!!

The Works Tub and Tile cleaner has knocked out hard water stains that nothing else would touch. Might be worth a shot.

the lusso polish is not a true glass polishing compound. you`ll need something with a cerium oxide base to really polish glass. i haven`t seen any build up on a windshield that cerium oxide couldn`t polish away. also, use a glass polishing pad. griot`s makes a good one.

I use glass scrub and I can tell you from experience, it`s not abrasive enough to remove the stain as you describe it. Rain X Extreme Clean is more potent, and I doubt it will remove it when following label instructions.

It`s time to break out the big guns. Glass polishing pad and cerium oxide. If that combo doesn`t work, you`re stuck with it.

If that doesn`t work... time for a new windshield.

It`s bad at night, almost dangerous with the amount of glare that comes into the car. The whole drivers side is poka dotted.

Tried tile and & shower cleaner, no good. That stuff does work great on stickers though. Removed my old registration in two seconds.
