Problem with Ultima interior guard application

The first time I used it it worked perfectly.

The second time I used it I had trouble needing much more product to spread it and then after a few minutes wiping it down with a MF towel it left streaks.

I think it may be weather related. First time I used it humidity was 80 percent. Second time I use it humidity was only 20 percent with 90 degree temperature.

Either that or I left the applicator in the plastic container without washing it out.

Any one have the same trouble? Thanks!

How did you clean the interior prior to application?

I know that when you do this for a living you don`t have the luxury of time. I find that UIGP works best on a cool leather seat. The heat caused it to flash faster and I find that leaves and uneven apearance. I do always clean the surface prior to application with Ultima interior shampoo.

I had recieved a sample of the Wolf Leather Sealant to try and liked it very much, but the same applies, the surface must be pre-cleaned, dry and cool for best results IMHO.

With either product, and uneveness dries out evenly and I usually just give it a quick buff when I am all done.

I would wipe the panel down with a damp towel after using OPC (or any all purpose cleaner) on it. This will ensure all residues are removed.
