My understanding is the first couple of years the King Ranch used a aniline leather, which is very difficult to clean and stains easily. You can use Leatherique on the seats. I believe that Ford also sells a cleaning kit specifically for that leather.

I did one some time back and used Leathique with great success.

Like Todd has mention, the early years on these the material was different then what Ford uses today. You can use Leatheique to clean and maintain them or you can use leather masters strong cleaner to clean them.

man i hate those first gen king ranch seats, man they were horrible! especially in a work truck where they would end up looking like plastic very shortly. i hope i dont run into those seats again!
Ford dealers do sell a kit just for upkeep of the King Ranch. One of my friends just bought one and got the kit from Ford.
