    NO shine interior dressing?

Is there and interior protectant that has absolutely no shine to it?

I had a customer last week with an 2010 Audi who didnt want ANY change of appearance to his interior vinyl . He did let me use leather conditioner on his leather (Optimum leather protectant)but was adamant about wanting the rest looking exactly the same so I didnt use anything.

He also gave me areally nice tip and I will be doing his car again so I would like to find something that will protect but have NO shine.

Figuring he liked his tires nice and matte , he said "oh I like my tires real shiny "LOL go figure !

Poorboys World natural look is one that I have used for a matted finish. The trick is to apply and buff using a cotton towel. Makes a like new look, no shine.

1Z Cockpit Premium works very well hard surface`s and also the Blackfire Twins ( Blackfire Interior Cleaner and then use the Blackfire Interior Protectant for that matted type of look.

I use the 1Z Cockpit Premium as well and it is incredible. Leaves a nice matte finish and smells great.

Prima Nero works well on my charcoal interiors. Wipe on, buff off. Not even a hint of a shine.

Another cheap alternative that I use from time to time is baby shampoo and water mixed. This leaves a nice finish. If it`s good enough for a baby, it`s good enough for a car!

I can go along with both the 1Z CP and PB`s NL recommendations in regards to leaving a mostly matte finish. Though I really would lean toward the NL over CP when it comes to "protection" and initial cleaning for that matter. IMO CP is a great light cleaner but needs to be used weekly.

Even baby shampoo is soap. It may do a good job of cleaning the interior, but the soap may discolor and dry out the vinyl trims.

Most baby shampoo is rated as "5" or moderately hazardous to baby skin. I`m a grandfather so I know these things.

If you want an inexpensive locally available option just pick up Meguiar`s Quik Interior Detailer.

A product line that I need to investigate further. Rarely hear a negative user review on any of their products.

Often forget that one. I`ve even got a bottle. Indeed a nice option.

Meguires Hyper Dressing, it can be diluted 4:1, and lasts a really long time.

I LOVE Poorboy`s World NL! I usually don`t even buff. Just a nice very thin application and it will dry to a matted finish.
