    Re: NO shine interior dressing?

Thanks guys for keeping your replys coming. i appreciate it!

Honestly I havent bought anything yet or made a decision .

Mark took the enthusiasm out of my searching when he said it wasnt possible to get a "no change " on black.

But I may decide to get the IZ CP anyway and do a tape line 50/50 to see for myself if there is a difference first and get his approval .

BTW I used 303 on my dash and it came out rediculoiusly shiney even for my taste .

Dressings can react very differently from one car to the next!

^ I don`t know if you are responding to my post, but I was talking about 303 Fabric & Vinyl Cleaner. I agree, the 303 Aerospace Protectant is too shiny for my taste on interiors.

Im sorry Chet I was, and didnt realize you wrote "cleaner".

Its funny because I have one customer who wants me to use 303 protectant on his BMW and it barely has any gloss on his interior, but when I used it on my dash it was crazy shiney .

    Re: NO shine interior dressing?

I was in walmart the other day and saw the meguires quick detailer for under 5 bucks and could resisit buying it for that price! Sorry Autopia store! Do you price match walmart?LOL

Ive tested it on 3 vehicles now and 2 out of 3 it didnt change the appearance at all , I could even see the tape line after taking the tape off.

On a Prius door it darkened the door quite a bit.

Are you talking leather or plastic surface?

For Plastic/Vinyl, I have had great success with either Steam, or 1Z (Einzett) Deep Plastic Cleaner.

Leather, again Steam carefully through a towel, or a good Leather Cleaner like Zaino Z9, Auto Glym Interior Cleaner.

There are many products out there that can do this - are you looking for something for your personal vehicles, or are you running a business ?

my car....platic accord dash....much too shiny - horrendous glare - I have poorboys natural look based on what I read here but want to pull off the vinylex and other junk I`ve used that make it extra shiny now....

I`ve got some DP interior cleaner it I`ve been known to use some APC thats pretty diluted. I always wipe with a damp (just water) microfiber towel after to make sure there`s no residue. Then apply your new dressing

Poorboy`s World Natural Look does a nice job leaving the surface with an even flat looking finish. When I use it I`ll apply it with a terrycloth towel. On the interior I tend to stay away from Microfiber towels as the terrycloth are easier to work with...

I found NL to work well on rubber floor mats with zero slipperiness. I even use it on rubber pedals.

I`ve used it on my tires for car shows. The first time I did it everyone asked what I put on my tires because they looked black and not shiny/greasy.
