I agree with `Shiny`. I started using this last month and love it. I`ve used things in the past that put WAY TOO MUCH shine on my dash. At least once I`ve had to clean off the protectant because my vision was impaired by the dash shine so I can relate to your client request.

    Re: NO shine interior dressing?

I agree that the Meg`s QID doesn`t give off any shine. IME it`s more of a very light cleaner, that supposedly has some protection abilities. That said, if you have an uneven finish to start with it will still be uneven after the QID is applied.

I rotate between the 303 and Meg`s QID. It depends on what type of interior material it`s going on. The 303 gives a subtle "dressed/finished" look but not shiny or greasy, and the Meg`s gives me the "untouched" look.

I remember what a beauty parlor smells like, 1Z ain`t it! I thought it was more of a deodorizing smell, doesn`t linger for me, just leaves things smelling clean, IMO.

I used PB`s NL for a long time but Mark`s right, 1Z CP is as matte as you`re going to get. On my GM pebble-grain trim it just appears clean.

I thought that it smells like a shaving cream, but nobody agreed with me. I kinda like the smell, but it doesn`t last once it is wiped.

    Re: NO shine interior dressing?

I like the 303 Vinyl and Fabric cleaner. Can be diluted substantially. It may leave a slight shine, can`t tell if it`s because the trim has simply been cleaned, or if it`s due to some agent in the 303. The black trim is a much deeper black after usage. The product can also be used to clean my vert top, spot clean carpeting, etc.
