I did a lot of research prior to buying my steamer. I ended up going with the Gaia from Vapor Clean:

I have owned it for going on 3 years. It is a steamer, extractor and vacuum all in one. The competition will say that you can`t run all 3 on a 110V plug. Not true whatsoever. Mine has been great. It is awesome for stain removal (especially with the extractor too) and is a powerful steamer. It has 3 different levels of steam that come out. I also use it a lot in our house from cleaning grout to cleaning up puke when my girls are sick. I like how it santizes everything. Here are some links to threads I have done with it over the last few years. I highly recommend it and it is in the $750 range with free shipping. Several detailers have purchased one based on my recommendation and have been extremely pleased with it. My initial review:

I have no affiliation with the company whatsoever. I bought what worked for me. A lot of people buy the VX5000. I looked at it but it did not do what I wanted in a steamer: namely extraction too. Any steamer will be an assset to your efforts. Once you clean with steam, you can`t imagine going back to cleaning without it!! Good luck with your purchase!

Crystal glass. It leaves the windows smooth and slippery as if they were waxed. If you can`t find it pm me and I will tell where to get it.

Yea I like this mix for those balling on a budget. Just don`t use ammonia on tinted glass!! Try at your own risk anyways... or find a sale on windex? hwell:
