    Detailing your floor pedals

What do you use to clean and detail your floor pedals?

I have been using an APC and PB Natural Look Dressing, and was wondering if I should be doing something different.

Some good APC or Tire Cleaner if rubber would be great
As for dressing, definitely you want some water based product. No silicone, wax or anything greasy

Meguiars APC and a toilet brush dipped in a bucket of hot soapy water. The towel dried and blown out with compressed air.

I use my Mytee HP601 Extractor with 200 deg water and inject the water into all the pedals and extract it back out. Sometimes, if they are really old and dirty, I will spray some APC on them first, and do the water/extract procedure. They come out perfect, and since I am already down there doing the carpeting, its not a problem to hit all of the pedals and footrest.

Many rubber pedals are easy to take off so that they`re easier to clean.

I have been using a concoction of vaseline & olive oil on wifey`s brake pedal but it does not seem to be working they way I had hoped!!!

I been using APC with a toothbrush in place if I can`t remove them or if I can remove them, I wash them in a small bucket with APC then dry off.
