TOGWT, I was wondering if I could please get your opinion on TAW vs. Zep H.D. degreaser?

As stated P12S Total Auto Wash is a `safe` solvent

I don`t usually use degreaser`s so I can only comment on their chemial content-

a)SODIUM HYDROXIDE (; caustic soda; soda lye (pH 13.5)

    b) ETHYLENE GLYCOL MONOBUTYL ETHER;2-butoxyethanol; butyl cellosolve.

    Butyl Cellosolve
    Synonyms: Butyl (2-butoxyethanol)
Butyl (2-butoxyethanol) is as a strong ethylene glycol-based solvent, and a highly effective cleaner, as well as inexpensive, it is harmful to man and the environment. It white-stains aluminium and damage clear coated (painted) wheels and powder coating finishes. Butyl is also very harsh on your skin, causes respiratory distress when inhaled, and it is not readily biodegradable.

A chemical that is found in a wide variety of household cleaning agents - glass cleaners, oven cleaners, general degreasers, spot removers, air fresheners, and carpet cleaners, among other things. It is a colourless liquid with a sweet, ether-like odour and is manufactured by the Eastman Kodak company. It is also known as butyl glycol, Dowanol, Bane-Clene and ethylene glycol monobutyl ether (EGBE), which has made it on to the list of California?s toxic air substances
    ? An ethylene glycol-based solvent

    Today I did a carpet/cloth seat extraction on a 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee w/ 116k miles

After an in depth vac, I pretreated with ultra-pac and some areas that looked greasy needed citrus-solv.

I had the proper mix of dry slurry in the tank of the Mytee HP60.

Video should be up in a few:

I guess this is a good place to insert this question , I have a new set of Lloyd mats, really nice, black with red embroidery .I will have to check, but I think the material is scotch guarded, but I want to keep them as perfect as possible.
What is a good product to use on them that has a low residual build up.
Thanks in advance guys, you always have the answers ! :

I have those in my `03 Corvette. Lloyd`s makes great floormats!

I keep them vacuumed regularly and when they need to be cleaned, I use a foam carpet cleaner (Woolite High Traffic Carpet Foam) and wipe with a soft white towel. They always look fresh and new.

I used to recommend Tuff Stuff. Then I had a problem with certain carpets "bleaching out".

    Not good.

    Woolite = very safe.
