    Best(favorite) leather conditioner?

Just as the title says, whats the best out there now a days?

I tend to find something I like, and stick with it, ignoring all new products that come onto the market. Now that I`ve been using my latest conditioner for the last 8-10 years, I`d like to see what`s the best out there for "feel" and "protection". I really don`t care about cleaning, well I do, but I have other methods for that. I`m more interested in conditioners only.

    Thanks,
    Nick

My favorite is Leatherique. You may not need both the oil and cleaner, but for older leather there is nothing that I know of that will soften it like Leatherique. I use it on my car and home leather.

From the stuff I have read on the net, I am persuaded (rightly or wrongly) that water-based products are best for finished leather. Once one has made this determination, then the field narrows considerably. I am currently using Leather Master products.

    Leatherique, Leatherique, Leatherique!

I am a HUGE fan of the Rejuvinator Oil, and the Prestine Clean is great as well.

I used to be a diehart Lexol fan. It`s good stuff, but I like the Leatherique better.

The Zaino Leather in a Bottle is nice as well.

And I LOVE the smell of Prima Nourish. I find that I generally use the Nourish in between my major details with Leatherique.

I like the 2-step Leatherique process as well, but view it as more of a restorative product than maintenance. Also to do it correctly is extremely time consuming for a customer`s vehicle unless you can have it for an extended period. Pristine Clean is a nice standalone cleaner (maybe a bit spendy), but you are interested in conditioners.

For treated leathers the need for a "conditioner" is often fairly vigorously debated. Lexol is usually readily available and performs well. 4* (pre-poly-charged verison, which I haven`t tried) leather conditioner works nicely.

Two products I`m interested in trying are AM`s leather product and 1Z`s Lederpflege. AM for the obvious availability factor.

Lexol has been the cleaner/conditioner I have been using but I am VERY disappointed in it. I just used on the Meguiars GC Rich Leather spray and while I liked it better than Lexol, I`m still not convinced it is what I`m looking for.

The "talk" and leatherique is pretty convincing and compelling, although I`m not sure I`m up for that much work.

I`m still reading and still waiting to be convinced.

Good one D!Tailed  I do like them, just not for leather.

I have been gifted on several occasions with T-shirts with that Mr. Clean logo. It seems they produced a run of them several years ago and various friends sent them my way.

Use caution if using Mr Clean as its an abrasive and may wear through he polyurathene covering

While leather that is vinyl-coated is relatively easy to care for by virtue of its protective plastic surface, it is also inaccessible for purposes of maintenance. Meaning, of course, there is absolutely no point to using leather conditioners on plastic coated leather

Well, I just pulled the trigger on the 16oz 2-step Leatherique kit. Going to play with it on my new truck and see how it does.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! It`s really appreciated!

Yeah, I was totally kidding on using them for leather. I have found them to be very helpful at times as well!

I originally found them useful when some kids tagged the white vinyl fence at my house with spray paint. It actually did a better job at removing it than a lot of the solvents I tried did!

I`ll have to keep my eye out for more Mr. Clean swag for ya!

Leatherique is definately a great once a year type of product.

For regular uses I really like Zaino Z10 it looks great and has a nice leather smell to it.
