Trim removal tools, What do you use ?

I am interested in getting some trim removal tools and was wondering what you guys are using. Any suggestions/recommendation/comments are helpful. I would like to get a small set that will handle most situations, thank you.

Kinda depends on which piece of trim needs to be removed. That said, you can get a plastic set from most part stores that has 4 - 6 tools in it that will handle most jobs. They run around ten bucks. Windshield trim tools probably require the metal ones or at least that’s what I’ve used in the past.

Hello, Fishing ! I hope you and yours are all good !

Griot`s has a nice set of red, plastic, trim tools that come in this nice pouch that I have in the Shop.. I don`t need them very often, but they are a great selection of different ones that have worked very well when I needed just -that- one..

I got a set off of Amazon for around $10 and they work fine. Many of them have a money back guarantee. Get a set with a carrying case to keep them in order.

I have the blue set from Harbor freight. Works well and price is right. Use them for a lot more than trim.

I`d been wondering whether this was about "interior trim" tools or something else...

I went through two sets of those (well, two of certain pieces that I use most often) and finally got a higher-quality set from Eastwood (which is probably pricey overkill).

And yeah, they`re handy for lots of different tasks.

Nice looking kit. That should cover the bases for ya!

Looks like you’ve got a variety of radio removal tools and push pin clip removers too.

That`s exactly what I was thinking! Looks like a swell set for all of $26! Looks more complete by far than the set I got, and I probably spent more

Hermano, Hope you and yours are all safe up there in NEOH..

I looked on Amazon and this company makes several other versions of the kit.. Some come with a lot of those black fasteners, that hold a lot of things together, that sometimes break when removed..

Thank you all for help and comments. So far I have only used some of the prying pieces on the left. Haven`t used any of the fun looking pieces on the right.

This is what I use 90% of the time,

Bojo is the supplier to Snap on. Best bone tools I`ve used.

Side note - Mine are black and I`m not sure if they are a different material because of color.

Yes indeed, Accumulatorette and I are doing fine with the shelter-in-place

Hope *you* are doing OK out there in CA.

Oh man, I *wish* my set had come with some spare fasteners!
