    Question Seat Back Kick Protectors?

Now that I`ve turned my son`s car seat around to front facing, I need to find a good seat back kick protector. So far I`ve been removing his shoes every time he gets in / slipping them back on when he gets out... but that`s getting old - does anyone have recommendations on a seat back kick protector? All the ones I`ve seen so far don`t appear to be up to Autopia standards.... TIA.

How about looking at this outside the box. Make some Plush MF booties that slip over the boys shoes?

Thanks for the suggestion - neoprene covers did cross my mind. $99 might be a hard sell to the wifey... But you used and liked the coverking ones from Costco?

And you could set him up with a shallow pan of soapy water so he could dip and go speed skating in the kitchen to wash the floor for you!

I`ll be watching this thread as my daughter`s still rear facing, but seat covers for when she gets turned around are something I`ve been thinking about.

I`m using these and haven`t had an issue:

I like the elastic straps with the hooks for the bottom that allow me to adjust how tight it fits to the seat. They also provide a wrap around strap if you don`t want to use the hooks.

I have had neoprene but not like the Costco brand, they work well, I used a Scotch guard for further protection

Nice! I like the sound of this one. Thank you!

I have that exact same Britax Marathon car seat! Ha. Now in the Amazon photo it looks like the top 2 or 3" are resting on top of the seat, protecting that area in addition to the seat back:

But in your photo the kick mat looks flush with the seat back only. Is the Amazon photo not accurate? My son is tall for his age and has no trouble resting he feet pretty high up on the seat.

Another good call - I`ve been planning on scotch guarding the seats for a while. Now I just need to remember to do the backs too Thanks!

Mine overlapped the top. But my seats are thicker and the Headrest supports or more forward.

Cool, thank you. I just ordered a set. I really like the ability to hook the protector to the seat base in order to keep the mat in place vs the elastic band around the front seat - that gets uncomfortable for the driver or passenger`s lower back and has the potential to damage the seat.
