Leather conditioner left a "stain"

Hi all! New to the forum here. I recently conditioned my leather car seats (they`re perforated leather). I poured the conditioner directly on the seat (probably a mistake) but quickly spread it over the surface of the seat. After I removed all the excess, I could still see where I originally poured the conditioner. It looks like it left a stain. Is there a way to remove this? I`ve tried scrubbing with a damp cloth but that didn`t work. I also tried applying more conditioner to even out the stain. Any recommendations to help solve this problem? I attached photos of the conditioner and the `stain.` Thank you!

Did you bring it back to the dealer? Since you are only about 35 minutes north of us, we`d be glad to take a look at it and see if we can at least even it out if you want to drive down

I think you soaked the leather too much by applying this liquid directly to the perforated leather instead of applying it to a cloth and lightly rubbing it across the leather..
You may have soaked the foam underneath it and it hopefully, will dry and the stain will go away..

I would try blotting it a lot with a clean cotton towel that hopefully will absorb some of the excess liquid in the perforations...

Put a dry cloth on the seat and sit on it when you drive. That may help wick away some of the excess conditioner. Hopefully it will even out over time. I`m surprised it soaked in like that. Most leather seats are coated and nothing soaks in. It is possible it soaked through the perforations.

I`d try a test spot with a leather safe All Purpose Cleaner like Optimum Power Clean (diluted) and scrubbing it with a Terry Towel.

Thanks, all. The photo was taken about two weeks since application. I imagine it is dry by now, right? I`ll try to absorb it with a cloth/towel. I did try a degreaser cleaner and that did not work. If absorbing it does not work, I`ll try the all-purpose cleaner. If neither work, I may be coming to see you Poorboy!
