    Walmart sells the great value brand in the household cleaning chemical section. My grandmother showed me this trick many years ago and I can tell you that so far I have yet to see a stain that this process has not removed. Good luck!!

    I have used Resolve on wine but they were fairly fresh stains.

    Thanks for posting Mr. Sparkle. Have you tried that process with a steamer? Or would the pressure just push the stain deeper? and moisture just make things more of a mess?

    DOH!! One more thing you will need is a mask because the ammonia smell and fumes created during the process are not so pleasant!!

    Hmmm.. I have yet to try it with a steamer but now that you mention it the next time I run across this issue ill give it a shot!

    I may give that a shot as well if I get my steamer up and running soon. Seems like the easier option to using an iron

    hydrogen peroxide works great on blood. give it a try.
