Washed one of your relative`s cars so you could stay outside away from some other relatives you didn`t really want to be around? <raises hand >

Since we had our Thanksgiving meal at my brother`s Mother-in-law`s house in Rockwall, I detailed his wife`s boss`s Lexus GS300. Well, detailed the outside anyway. If I am going drive 42 miles one way to my brothers, I might as well make some money. Not only that, they tipped me with deer jerky and salami.

On the way home, I got gas. Nice price war going on in Rockwall (TX). Regular is down to $1.91 a gallon.

Luckly this Thanksgiving I spent it only with my immediate family, otherwise I would have done the same to get away from my annoying cousins. Who BTW always break something of mine. Last year they broke my favorite 69 Camaro model. :angry

So funny you posted this thread Setec, my day fit the bill exactly. I did get in over my head a little, though. Spent 4 hours polishing my aunt`s black Envoy because I couldn`t stand to see cloudy, swirled paint. Needless to say dinner filled my tank back up.

Reminds me of the train scene in Trading places when the Eddie Murphy character (Valentine) asks the butler (who is dressed like a priest) if he wants any beef jerky and the butler answers "oh no, it gives me the wind something terrible".

:LOLOL Now I need to watch Trading Places....

I was going to work on my cousin`s car, but it was 21*F and 30-40mph winds. I passed on that idea.
