Wait a second; can you buy any of that in Utah?

Well, I drink (too much of): Kirin Lager, Kirin Ichiban Shibori, Ebisu, Heineken, Suntory Malts, and any of a large range of "HAPPOSHU" , which are cheap, "unofficial" beers.

I`ve been drinking whatever my roomate brings home. He`s a beer distributor so our fridge is always full and its contents are always changing.

I`m not a big fan of stout`s, but I`ll give it a try. Awesome conversational piece though.

Geesh, the only beer on your list that I have heard of is Guiness Draft. Where are the other beers from?

The only thing wrong with it is that it is about 7.5% alcohol and the smallest size bottle is 22oz, so you kind of can`t just drink a beer without getting a bit looped. I just finished a case that I bought back in April some time, maybe March.

Guinness is a stout not a beer but that is another discussion. I guess Guinness used to be my favourite drink before I stopped drinking alcohol.

The Guinness in Ireland tastes very different to the export stuff

Just curious... Are you talking about bottled Guinness in Ireland vs. bottled G. in the US, or pub draft G. in Ireland vs. bottled G. in the US? I`ve always wondered if they sell it bottled over there.

A few facts/whatever. There is a Guiness Extra Stout which most people have heard of and then there is a Guiness Draught (bottle) and a Guiness Draught (can).

    Mosca,

Which beer are you talking about?

Saison Dupont (Saison Style) (Belgium) 750ml $8.00

    Rochefort 8 (Trappist Style) (Belgium) 330ml $8.40

Dogfish Head World Wide Stout (Stout Style) (Deleware) 12oz. $8.75

    Guiness Draft (Ireland) 330ml $1.40

Celebrator Double Bock (Double Bock Style) (Germany) 12oz. $2.95

Aventinus (Wiezen Bock) (Germany) 500ml $3.85

I was thinking about the Draught Guinness in errr draught (tap) form. The cans taste close to the `tap` version but I am not a fan of the bottled products.

It is a long way to travel to Ireland to taste the real thing but it is worth it.

People should checkout the Microbrew`s in there towns/city`s. Most of them have some awesome beer to offer. I`m getting psyched to try out all these new beers I`ve read/heard about. Next week I`m planning on spending $114 for a few of them. A couple of woman I work with will be placing oders as well.
