Bridgeport makes an excellent Hefeweisen...add a squeeze of lemon....excellent. A number of microbreweries turn out some terrific IPA`s as well. If you`re ever in Portalnd, OR you should definately check out some of our local microbrews.

I have a few Oregon beers on my list:

    Terminal Gravity

    Bridgeport ESB

    Deschutes Bachelor ESB

    And a few from Washington:

    ****’s Best Bitter (Washington)

    ****’s Barley Wine (Washington)

    ****’s Tripel (Washington)

    ****’s Grand Cru (Washington)

Seen it in the liquor store, but have not try it, I believe it`s a Hefe-Weizen, right?

I`ve seen the Pete`s in the liquor store, might give it a try. I love Anchor brew`s, but I don`t care for Stout`s or Porter`s, I`ve tried, but I still do not like them.

Yeah, Fuller`s definitely has a full taste to all their brews. If you are a die hard beer fan (like me) you will appreciate their efforts. I am drinking Houston`s local microbrew (and a pretty damn good one), St. Arnold`s Summer Pils right now. Goes great with the chicken fajitas I just cooked.

Pete`s Wicked Ale is not bad. I also like Grolish, Bass Ale, Harp Lager, Killian`s and Sam Adams Lager, Boston Ale and Cream Stout.

Is Grolish similar to Grolsch? :lol Seriously though, Bass and Harp rock, and are even better when used in conjunction with Guinness in a Black and Tan or Half and Half.

So I`m a lousy speller. Must have been all the Sam Adams Lager I was washing the baby back ribs down with tonight. :chuckle:

Having a BBQ with some Anderson Valley Boont Amber Ale. Man, this is an awesome beer, never had anything like this. Has a sweet caramel taste with a medium body. Will be buying a 6er this weekend for sure.
