I didn`t know where else to put this, so I put it here:
Is anyone else experiencing hyperlinks being added to your posts and in other peoples` posts?? It seems like words are being chosen at random and being turned into a "search" link
It`s driving me nuts

Whoa! This is news to me. Please post some examples. Nothing intentional AFAIK. Sounds like some kind of forum software glitch
Treat it like it`s the only one in the world.

You`ve got spyware! Get Spybot Search & Destroy or AdAware and scan your computer.

In addition to those I just got Pest Patrol. It does a nice job.

That happened to me last year when I was on my parents` (read: 18 yo sister`s) computer. I ran Adaware/AVG/and Spybot and got rid of it.
Somebody actually takes time out of their day to do that to your computer. That`s the obnoxious part.Talk is cheap because supply exceeds demand.

I talked to the wife, (she went to Arizona for a funeral last Wednesday) apparently she does an Ad/Spyware check daily. The husband is always the last to know
She had me run a scan from her name and I came up with over 430 `alerts` for Ad/Spyware. She told me how to get started, but said she would take over the clean out when she gets home tonight. It seems like I did something beause I don`t seem to be gettng the mystery links...popups on the other hand...Don M
