    Work in progress picture

Work in progress. This is after washing and claying. Seemed to make the paint a little whiter, but not really shinier.

    After pics

Ran out of daylight, so continued the next day with a S&W session to remove overnight debris. Applied PwC by hand (work towels) and followed-up with EX-P by hand (PVAs). Used velvet smooth towels to remove all residue.

After a long day of detailing, I got stuck in a huge traffic jam on the way home. I was parked in this spot for about 45 minutes.

At least you got stuck behind a black 5 series! How come that van is full of MF goodies? I didn`t know you could use shop towels to apply stuff. I just saw some at Sam`s Club, maybe the terries / shop towels are useful. The Baja Sol`s aren`t working very well.

Oh yea back to topic! The Equinox looks unique but the white looks alot cleaner. But a darker next time Steve! How many cars does he have now? :crazy

Yes, it did give me a chance to really look at the new 5 series. I still don`t like the design of the trunk lid. I`m just glad I was parked in a shady spot. The folks stuck in full sun must have been quite toasty.

Yes, you can use microfiber towels to apply products. Poorboy`s Work Towel worked well with PwC.

I know MF with less plushness / pile can be used to polish... But a Work Towel! Unleash it upon us Steve! Looked green, quite different. I definitely need some better terry towels.

It`s called a "work towel" because it is a dense and non-plush weave which gives it a little more bite. It does not resemble a traditional shop towel.

Cool. Will it be available soon? Do you think its better / safer than a terry towel?

It`s available now, but Steve`s site is still in the process of being updated.

    Poorboy`s Microfiber Towels

The Work Towel has a different type of towel than a plush terry towel. Choose the appropriate weave for the job at hand. See Steve`s site for examples of different weaves.
