I really like that suv - it`s between that or the envoy since I am dying to get that inline 6 - I wish GM would stick it in a sedan!!
You have activated my special ability....
I wanted the Salsa Red but the wife said :nono to red...the grey one was really blahh ....and since we were getting rid of a white van, replacing it with another white vehicle was logical...and no I`m not foolish enough to get a black vehicle to sit outdoors 24/7:doh :crazy
the V-6 is very peppy for old people also 19/25mpg and we would have considered a Trailblazer or Envoy if they got better gas mileage 15/20 if you don`t have a lead foot:lol 13/17mpg....our Tahoe sucks up enough gas
Hey! Was that a shot at me? :beatOriginally posted by Poorboy

Steve,
Congrat`s on the vehicle !! They are so cool.
Oh and by the way I won`t take any offense to the statement "foolish enough to buy a black vehicle that sit`s outside" comment....like my Black Z71 Tahoe does.......thank God for S&W.
I Know what you mean about the radio. Mine does the same thing ...it`s so cool. My Z came with the Bose sound system and can pretty much blow you right out.
Enjoy it !!

Steve: Congrats on the Equinox. I saw a red one on the way to WI yesterday and really like the styling.
Here are some photos from the Equinox`s first detailing session. As Steve said, the dealership was instructed to only remove the cosmoline and do nothing more.

The vehicle was slightly dirty with only a bit of embedded contaminants. A traditional hose and 2 bucket wash seemed prudent along with a good claying.
Before, tire and wheel -
There was also a little comsoline residue which required spot treatment with SSR1.

Something nifty lurks behind this tailgate...

It`s a shelf!

No, it`s a table!

This job is going to require a lot of microfiber. Luckily, Steve has a lot of towels. Here are stacks of velvet smooth and work towels.
