You can do it Ronkh. I quit 2 Years, 3 Months & 12 days ago. The first year was tough. Especially the first 3-6 months

I quit 5 years ago with the patch. I knew I had a problem when I was smoking over a pack a day and two packs if I went out to a bar with some friends. I was the type of person that truly enjoyed smoking. When I decided to quit the idea of the crazy dreams turned me off of chantix, so I went for the patch. It was extremely tough for me to hang out at a bar because everyone would be smoking. I really felt like Ricky Bobby in his first interview on Talladega Nights, "I don`t know what to do with my hands?". Lol. So I started wearing a rubberband and would pop my wrist if I wanted a cigarette. I really think it helped break my habit faster. But you have to find what works for you.

They used to say nicotine was the most addictive substance known to man, until the advent of crack cocaine (so nicotine was more addictive than heroin or regular cocaine).

Of course now they changed all that and I think now they say Twinkies are the most addictive...

Try using just a e-cig. I know its not quite the same as a cig but it works and still gives you that smoking sensation and routine.
