    Re: Beer

I`ve always liked wheat beers (at least after 3 years in Germany). It took forever for the US to catch up to Europe. The Blue Moon and Shocktop brands are ok, but a shadow of what a real German brewed wheat beer tastes like. I was drinking wheat beer with an orange slice in the mid eighties, now Bud and Miller act like they created it.

    Re: Beer

BEER. How I determine dwell time. 1 beer = 15-20 min. Usually 2-3 is just right dwell time for me. This is only on my own vehicles & boat and at the end for final coat so I`m pretty much done after that. I don`t think the beers are a bad idea at that point.
    Detailing beer- Miller lite
    Grilling beer - Yuengling lite
Other current favorites,Funky Budda Floridian , Monk in the trunk amber ale ,St Bernardis Abt 12 mixed 50/50 with Angry orchard cider-really good! Presidente black, Modelo especial, shock top raspberry wheat.
My garage beer fridge is too close to where I`m working so it`s hard not to grab one while working!
    If I`m not fishing,I`m wishing I was.

Very good stuff IMO. It is a little over-priced, but goes down well, good flavor, and doesn`t have too bad of a hangover effect.

Recently with all the hot weather I`ve been going cheap with Genesee Cream Ale. At $13.25 a 30 pack you can`t go wrong, unless you have too much, then the morning will not be pleasant. Not that I would know or anything...

    Re: Beer

These are the latest beers I`ve tried. I`m learning to like IPA`s over stouts with the dark beers being too heavy for the climate down here. The Jai Alai is probably one of the better IPA`s I`ve tried.

AGREE. The Yuengling lager was very good. Full body and good taste. Wonder if it`s just as good in cans? Might have to try the black & tan.

I`m more partial to cans myself, so I prefer it in a can. I`ve got the distributor in town hooked on the 16oz cans and they keep them in stock regularly. There`s a rumor you can pick up cases of Yuengling at their brewery for not much money. About a 2 hour drive from here; I smell a Smokey and the Bandit style roadtrip
