    Re: The Eternal Question

Unfortunately my DD has severe CC damage from the previous owner repainting passenger side rear quarter panel and door so it is tough to really care about the rest of the outside since it`ll always look like crap. Hopefully in the next few months I will have a new car that I will be proud of. My wife`s car however usually lives a mostly clean life unless I get a couple weekend jobs and can`t get around to washing it but overall much cleaner than anything around.

Someone needs to start a 12 step program for dirty cars to get clean.

My Speed3 isn`t too dirty because, well, its never driven...
The Totoya Beater-Mobile is really dirty, cause, well, its driven...
The motorcycles are dirty because they are driven as well...

However, I have a beautiful lambswool Aussie Merino Wool Wash Mitt that is beggin for some exercise.

    Re: The Eternal Question

While my car is not near as filthy as everybody else`s around here, I keep my daily driver respectably clean. We have a really muddy parking lot at work and when there`s rain in the forecast I don`t even bother. I have all season floor mats to protect the carpet, and enough coats of sealant on the paint cleaning don`t take long. Here`s an old picture of the lot for you guys to cringe at (yea it`s snowy, but that`s what it looks like when it rains:

    Re: The Eternal Question

Shame on you fellow detailers for driving filthy cars!

If you keep your vehicle clean it takes no time at all. I can do a wipe down on my van in 15 minutes because it never gets dirty and sits outside 24/7.
