Though in my area people are trending towards cheap, minimalist cremation packages, and taking the cremains as opposed to paying to inter them. Surviving relatives are even selling off the (preneed-purchased) burial plots for chump change. Sorta depressing to see the crews tearing up (already in-place) tombstones and hauling them off to the cemetery`s dump site... the decedents had a plan, but the survivors couldn`t care less, they want the money.
