I still miss their MacLeans! Ordered `em plain, as I do with all my burgers (which means I never get old/reheated ones, they gotta make `em to-order).

Heh heh, you youngsters think their burger are crappy these days...IMO they were a lot worse back ~50 years ago. Guess I got used to them, oh man have I eaten a zillion McBurgers over the years.

I can`t eat any of that type fast food or any chain restaurants that serve grease fatty foods. In one end and right out the other end violently. I know I have Diverticulitis I think I have IBS or Crohns, I have to eat very bland and fat free or my belly gets very angry with me.

trashmanssd- IIMO the upside of your condition is that it gets you to avoid eating [crap].

I have extremely bland tastes in food/beverages too though, just can`t stand the taste, or even the smell, of uhm...more interesting fare.

Still like their "regular" burger.

Haven`t had one for a while...but I like a triple-version of it, that`s what I`d usually order.

Ordering Quarter-Pounders PLAIN was such a PIA...actually had a manager argue with me that they simply *COME WITH CHEESE*, period. I had to explain "no, that`s a `QP with cheese`, separate menu item that costs more; if I don`t say `with cheese` then it`s just meat and bread and costs less, that`s called a `QP` ". He ended up refunding my $ rather than serve me what I wanted! McD`s in Willoughby, OH down the road from where my old Porsche/Audi dealer was.

McDonalds, IMHO, has gotten better in the past few years. I`ve eaten there maybe 3 times in the past year and it was pretty good. I usually get the "regular" ($1) cheeseburger meal.

You get like 2 burgers, fries, & a drink for like $6.

I was overdue for a meal, running late, and I don`t eat cheese...sanctimonious [individual] got all high-and-mighty with me at the wrong moment in an attempt to shame me in front of everybody in the place (he wasn`t soft-spoken or even polite), so I figured he could stand being taken down a few notches in front of his employees (who obviously despised him)...needed reminded of his place on the Food Chain. I`m not shy IRL

But nah, I`m not one of those PIA customers; I maintain Favored Customer status at restaurants I frequent.

That "Meal" sounds like an nice little appetizer...for somebody who`s OK with cheese I do put away the chow, I`d need quite a few of those..
