I`ve had a few buddies that were working logistics with some of the contractors over there. Is it still 6 months on and 6 months off?

    The "Really ?!?!?!?!" Thread

What a crap article. It is equating leftist liberalism with "freedom". Almost all of the countries in that "study" that precede the USA wouldn`t have a snowballs chance in hell defending themselves against even the tiniest international threat...

To me, a big part of "freedom", is the ability to be able to back it up if push comes to shove. Many of those countries were "free" 70 years ago until a bunch of Nazis got in trucks and crossed their borders. Without us manning the front, their freedom or copycat constitutions aren`t worth the paper they are written on.

Then there is the crazy taxes and cost of desirable goods in those countries. Maybe I`m just an Ugly American - but I wouldn`t want to live in any of those places.

shop is trying to tell me they need 1.0 hours to buff ONE headlight-

I almost fell out of my chair

I had to ask if they were doing it by hand- lol

oh and by the way..this is on a claimants car that OUR insured Rear Ended ... so I actually approved ZERO time for buffing a front headlight

nice try body shop- nobody messes with my profit sharing

That is nuts 512. I, even as a hobbyist can knock out a set of headlights in 15 minutes. That is highway robbery

I quit eating in McDonalds when they started making French fries "healthy". Now they taste like cardboard. I`m 58 and have never eaten a Bigmac, so no Bigdeal.

McDonald`s food went downhill years ago so have mostly avoided them when traveling. Their burgers were overcooked and dry since they cooked and put in warmers to be able to provide faster service. I have seen microwaves to warm them back up. If I do have eat at McD it is usually chicken.

The good news is that there are smaller regional chains they sell freshly cooked burgers and fries for not that much more money.
