I agree. I usually only see one or two cops on my overall drive, and they`re hardly ever running radar. And it`s so flat and straight that some sections just beg you to go wide open, but it`s not worth the price you`d pay if you got caught. It`s also easy to get caught up in a caravan of cars and not realize how fast your going. It`s not unusual to be in a line of cars going 85-90 and have your car begging for more.

Caravans of cars all going 80mph has been the normal in California for decades..
This is the norm even at rush hour..
You just have to be careful because that same speeding caravan sometimes is seen on TV as the 25-car pileup thing...

And as far as driving fast in Texas - After you come in from El Paso on Interstate-10, heading east and south to San Antonio, there is a long stretch almost all the way where the Speed Limit IS 80mph!!!
So if you add in the extra 10, well, there you have it...

Drive it all the time and only seen a cop once and he was overtaking my SRT when I had the cruise on 93. Lol

i agree! I am sick of hearing it and watching people trying to figure out whether to salute or take their hat off or stand up. Play "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and be done with it. Baseball is supposed to be fun. The Braves have an operatic tenor that sings it and I turn the volume off.
