$2.5 Million for the new Bugatti "Chiron":

New 2016 Bugatti Chiron to cost £650,000 more than the Veyron by CAR Magazine

    No thanks.

IMHO, crazy speed aside, Bugatti`s are just a bit too ugly. Give me a Ferrari or Aston Martin any day of the week...

    Quoted from another source:

"Big News For Poorboy`s WorldWe are moving our warehouse and all offices to south Florida. We are anticipating the move before the end of August and should be operational by the second week of October.

At the same time we sad to announce that Chris (aka Pockets) will be moving on. It will be a great loss to Poorboy`s World and it will be hard to fill his shoes, but we are bringing in a familiar face in the car care industry, Dwayne McPeeks formerly of Autogeek and Premium Auto care."

So would you prefer a Chevopar, perhaps Moparolet, imagine a HellCamaro, even a CamaroCat? Where did Fiat get this kind of backing or enough hudspa to propose such a thing? It will likely never fly but then again I was kind of amazed when Fiat ended up with Mopar. This is a pretty good 5 minute watch.

The other warning is if you get called by someone representing the charity it does not mean they work for the charity. Many companies raise money for charities but keep some before turning over to the charity. It is best to give directly to the charity not to a solicitor.

The fraternal organizations (police, fireman, etc) often use 3rd party solicitors so they do not get a lot of the money.

There are "veteran" groups that spend a lot on fundraising which they treat separately as admin costs.

It`s disgusting how many self entitled SOB`s are out there taking advantage of peoples contributions to "charity".

Whenever in doubt about how much of your donation is being sucked up by "administrative" overhead, Charity Navigator is a great go to resource:

I spent one summer working in Shriners Hospital for Children - Boston. I was blown away by the experience: every single patent was being treated 100% for free by one of the most dedicated staff of professions I`ve had the honor of working with. I`ve got mad respect for those old Fez hats wearing men parading along in their funny little cars.

    Re: The "Really ?!?!?!?!" Thread

Vice President Joe Biden told a roundtable in Davie, Florida on Thursday that it was a “totally legitimate argument” that sanctions relief will enable Iran to “do more of the bad things they’re doing now” like fund terrorism and destabilize the Middle East.

The relief as part of the nuclear agreement reached in July totals roughly $100 billion. Iran funds Hezbollah and Hamas, among other terrorist groups, and is the world’s leading sponsor of terror.

Biden, while defending the deal to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D., Fla.) and a group of Jewish supporters, addressed the financial benefits for Iran as a result of the agreement.

“Well, Joe, even if I believed you were able to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, you’re going to give them a whole lot of money, Joe Boy!” Biden said with a laugh. “And they’re going to go out and do more of the bad things they’re doing now, do it more efficiently and threaten our friends in an existential way because they’ll have so much more money and capacity. Totally legitimate argument and concern.”
