Anybody watch "Shark Tank" on tv?

Was catching up on the DVR last night and put on an episode of Shark Tank. In strolled a familiar looking face...

Aaron Krause, the former founder of IAP and the creator of The Edge Buffing Pads was on the show, asking for a latest investment in his newest product.. The Scrub Daddy cleaning sponge.

I have meet Aaron several times; he is a really down to Earth cool guy. Long story short, he got the deal he was looking for, and it looks like Scrub Daddy will be the next big thing.

Of course PBMG has had the Scrub Daddy`s for a long time and I will bring them into Autopia right away.

Those who have around this game for a while will certainly remember Aaron and hopefully join me in wishing him the best.

Yea they did, It was a bidding war he went in looking for 100k for 10% equity stake.

He ended up giving up 20% for 200k.

Thanks, my cousin`s two daughters are submitting to the show for their product. Custom made hospital gowns for woman, so far they have a decent business, but with the capital and marketing arm of the sharks they could take off big time.

Hmm I think last season they had someone with something similar, but they were marketing to Pregnant ladies and I think it was too much of a niche market.

Petty cool. I`ve always said u was going to order one to use when I work on on my cars but I always forget. Todd once you get them over here I`ll pick it up in my next order

I`ve watched the show several times and there was a young girl that was pitching her product and she and her mom wanted to team up with Mark Cuban. They ended up getting what they wanted and the girl even got season tickets to the Mavs.

I kinda figured that was the same guy, just never saw his name mentioned anywhere prior to this.

As I was watching, my first thought was "Aaron reminds me of Fermani..."

    Guess this sorta explains why!

Did 3M buy the Edge pad design? I would love to get a set of the 6" wool pads for polishing metal. It would have saved me a ton of time when I would polish my wheels for car shows. I liked how there wasn`t a back plate to hit on something while working with the edge of the pads
