Unscheduled surgery tomorrow morning!

My crazy life...

I`m driving home from PBMG and feel this SHARP pain in my chin today and kind of a weird internal pressure. When I was younger I broke my jaw and had the chin bolted together with titanium bolts (more on this later). So I get home and the pain had only gotten worse. I pick up my son and go get an appointment with my doctor. By this point my chin has become `hot` to the touch and is killing me.

An x-ray and a call to plastic surgeon later it is determined that 1 of the bolts has come lose! This is the first time that the surgeon has heard of this. But I`m in luck, tomorrow is surgery day and they will meet me early (6 AM). A wild run around town to get lab work (they have to put me under because the bolt is behind the muscle which has to be cut) and I think I am scheduled for the fastest surgery.

My other option was to wait a week, which means I would still be recovering and it would put SEMA at risk. The show must go on, so I`ll be on here tomorrow, but likely a little loopy.

Thanks for the warm wishes. It is a minor procedure and the upside is, besides being a little pain (apparently they have to go in through the inside of my mouth, cut the muscle, unscrew the loose screw, and patch me back up) I really am AMAZINGLY lucky that they can schedule this on short notice. Less than 24 hours notice!

I will be back and posting today. I don`t have a choice, I have a lot of products to write copy for before SEMA! I have goals to meet .
