I thought about ordering these from www.containerstore.com but the shipping was more than the bottles themselves. A quick netsearch revealed this:

    https://store.nalgenunc.com/store/

Go to `Dispensing Bottles`. The last two digits of the part number is the size in ml, about 30 ml = 1 oz. Best of all, UPS Ground is free free free!

Just wanted to pass it along,

That`s what I have been trying to find, and free shipping is perfect. Going to get a few right now for my Klasse products as well as my 3M polish, I hate the factory bottles.

    -----------------

Do you think the 0024110015 is enough for 3M swirl mark remover? You said the last two numbers equal the amount of ounces they will hold but the last two on this bottle are 15 and that would equal half an ounce even though they look ten times the size of the smaller one that is one ounce.

    Help me out.

I think I`d get the big one for SMR; I used up 1/4-1/3 of a bottle doing my car with the PC over the last couple days. The lids fit tight, so it`s not like it would go bad in the smaller bottle if you didn`t use it all. One thing though- the 3M SMR is kind of thick; you might have trouble getting it to come through the small nozzle. Dunno for sure as my bottles aren`t here yet.

I got ya, but you think the second size from the smallest is big enough for klasse right?

I`m gonna pass on the bottles for the 3M stuff then.

...that an ounce of SG/car is about right, if not a little much. With that in mind I bought 2 of the 30ml bottles. I figure it`ll be easy to gauge how much I`m using that way. (Much more convenient than a measuring spoon or a graduated cylinder! )

And I don`t think you should necessarily _not_ try a bigger one with SMR just `cause I suggested that it might not work. It might work really well. None of the rest of us would know if you didn`t try it

I don`t want to buy the bottles for the polish because I don`t want to have to squeeze the hell out of them just get a little polish on the pad. I rather deal with the 3M bottles.

Has anyone found cheap spray bottles? WAL*MART had some 50 cent 2-oz spray bottles but apparently no longer . Great for trunk detailing kits, sending out samples or being frugal with QD!

Got my bottles yesterday. I do think that the nozzles are too small to work with heavier liquids, but for SG and AIO they will be perfect. I`m not sure, but I think I can SG my Miata with 1/3 oz or less!

    Cheers,

Vintage Race Car Concours - Road America

Last night was the concours event for the vintage race cars running in the Kohler International race this weekend. This year easily had the highest attendance numbers, it was hard enough just to breathe let alone get a clear shot of the cars.

At times the swarms of people was simply overwhelming.

There were tons of serious machines on display, and you needed to be ready to grab the shot the instant the crowds cleared.

These Lolas are beyond cool, and it was a real treat to be able hear them running up close.

Not all cars were completely serious, like this rare Bocar and it`s Playskool steering wheel.

I have a soft spot for Datsuns, and I was a bit bummed out that there was only a few on display.

There were plenty of badass ground-shaking Trans-Am cars to be seen...

...as well as some adorable Austin-Healey Sprites.

Porsches were plentiful, as you would expect.

There were even some newer `vintage` cars to be seen.

And if you get tired of all the crowding downtown, there is plenty of cool cars to be seen on the side streets.

    ...Like this Alfa Veloce...

...or this LS2 powered Morgan +8...

    ...or a more conventional 2.0L 4-cylinder Morgan...

...an immaculate 911 Turbo on BBS meshies...

    ...a Ferrari 550 Maranello...

    ...an MG Roadster...

    ...a Plymouth Roadrunner...

    ...a Ford GT...

    ...or this stunning 356 convertible...

...even some modern imports, like this widebody NSX...

    ...or this FD RX-7...

That was just last Friday, and is about the same time every year. It is easily the biggest event that goes on at Road America and draws a crowd from all over the world. ALMS doesn`t even get the same level of turn out that the Kohler event draws.
