The theory a dirty car reducing fuel efficiency makes sense to me. I can see how dirt and other debris could reduce drag coefficiency.

Guess I`ll just have to watch the show to see what the final verdict is. Thanks for the heads up on the show.

Great show - no surprises that a clean car gets better mpg, But - the golf ball dimpled car, like wow! I wonder how it would do in a crash test and what it would cost to build if it crashed well.
